Something different!

I have a Spring wedding to go to in NC. in April and I was out to the mall shopping this past week & I saw the yellow necklace below well needless to say fell in love with it and bought it  because it would go perfectly with what I planned to wear.

Then I said "self" you can make these so off I went to good old trusty Joann fabric's bought some chiffon material and some chain came home and set to work...I had bought the Sizzix "Big Kick" cutting machine sometime ago by reccomendation of a friend who has one and loves it and I tell you it is great for cutting material, oh sorry got a little sidetracked, so everything below the yellow necklace I made. 

The silver necklaces are little bird nest and of course the beads are to look like eggs...I've seen them on several blogs I follow so gave them a try also and, the white embroidered necklace is machine embroidered with swavorski  crystals sewn on. So that's it for now need to get back at it..will post more later till then "Have a great day creating whatever it is you enjoy and maybe try yor hand at something new"

Lover's knot block♥

Here is my block "Lover's knot" for my next quilters guild meeting next Wed. we have a different block each month then a drawing for all the block's so I'm really hoping I win this month wish me luck...it's not perfect but, I think it came out very nice especially since I'm not really a quilter by nature...in fact I'd like to make more of these and make a table runner or something, probably not a quilt but who knows I may surprise myself I've also been working on 2 more pairs of the baby slippers I posted awhile back for someone at the shop where I have my stuff so when they are finished I'll post them, hopefully later today till then happy day to all♥

New digiscrapping blog
