Mixed bag to quilt
I just finished this really easy and lovely bag by Nanette Merrill at http://www.fredashive.blogspot.com/. I made it out of "At waters edge" fabric by Moda I changed it just a little from what the pattern calls for but it turned out just fine. I added the antique doily with silk ribbon roses on to the front to add a little pizazz. It has 2 pockets on the inside. I made it for my quilt guild meeting tomorrow night seems I never take anything for "show n tell" so now I have something.

Teacup caddy
I just made this really cute "teacup caddy" I bought the pattern from Paula at http://sewlittlefabric.blogspot.com/ from her Etsy shop I think it would make a great gift to buy a special teacup put it in and get their favorite tea put in the pocket how cute is that...and on the pocket it say's "It's a bee-uti ful day" my youngest grandson tells me that everyday when he's here rain or shine it's bee-utiful to him....out of the mouths of babes so special! So to all my blog friend's have a BEE-UTI FUL day.

Friends welcome here
I haven't done much in the way of sewing lately but, did happen to get this finished....think it's going to be a small wall hanging to welcome any friend's and guest's to our humble home. I've been trying to get all my BOM 's traced and ready to stitch been sort of AWOL from my stitching so many other things to do with garden coming on...trying to keep weed's out so veggie's have room to grow boy that's a job in itself but, well worth it in the end when all you have to do is go outside and pick what you want can't get any fresher than that. Will try and get caught up and have more to show you soon until then

A disgrace to our veterans Please help!!
I received an email from someone today that needs to go out to everyone in our "GREAT" country to see...out in the Mojave desert stands a cross on a hill that's been there since 1934 in honor of all the veterans who have died to help keep our country free and in honor of the one's still serving today and "1" individual from Oregon wants to have in taken down because it stands on goverment property thinks it's offensive so the "ACLU" has taken it to court and they have had it covered up until the supreme court rules on it if it should be taken down we need to take a stand on this and prevent this from happening write your congressmen, representatives and everyone please go to this site http://www.donttearmedown.com/ and sign the petition to keep it standing and watch the video for yourself you will be appalled!
