We must be on the same wavelength with jeans! I am doing a class at our local children's library this summer about making things out of old jeans. One of the items I will be showing the kids how to make is a tote bag out of the top part of a pair of jeans, pretty much like you did, only using strips of fabric from an old shirt tied onto the belt loops to form the handles. We'll also be doing an apron from one leg and a little over the shoulder purse out of the other! Should be fun!

OMG, those purses are so adorable Sandy.. I especially like the chain hanging on the second purse. Seems like chains are so in right now. I've been savings jeans for quite a few years to make a quilt. I even have a few colored pair from the 80's in pink, wine, green & black. They might make a cute bag too.

These bags are so cute - especially the one with the little chain! I can see how you could become quite addicted to them, just so easily!

Cute as can be, both of them! Isn't this a fun challenge? I'm trying to use as much of these old jeans as possible, have made a couple of things and still working...love what you've done :-)
