I finally have a finish for August yeah I'm excited I did this off of a pattern from my dear friend Donna at http://brynwoodneedleworks.blogspot.com/ she made a beautiful quilt for a granddaughter and she did a tutorial for it so here is my version not nearly as nice as her's but I'm happy with it...I tried free motion quiltng again thinking it was going to get easier wrong I'm thinking I need to take to a friend from our quilt guild who does it on her long arm and have it done from now on but for now this will do. I love the fabric it's "Old Primrose Inn" by Backbird Designs for Moda that's it for now I must get going and get some yard work done before my DH get's home tonight from China he's been gone for almost 2 weeks will be happy when he's home!

Very lovely! I like the pattern and the fabric is wonderful!
Hugs, Lisa
Thanks to you both!!
Dear Sandy:
How sweet of you to post me as your inspiration to do this quilt. My heart is full!
I love the fabrics you chose, and your free-hand quilting is perfect. If you have trouble with the fabric slipping, just slip on a pair of gardening gloves that have the little rubbery grippies on them and that will help you control the fabric as you dance around under the needle of your sewing machine.
Your label is a lovely finishing touch. Don't give up too easily...it's just a matter of practice, my friend.
Love and hugs on this blessed Sunday.
